Why OC failed?

 

Alright! This is not a negative writing,it is indeed the blend of analysis and comment on why online classes failed to deliver the demand excellence.

                Hi, my name is Aman Kumar and I have sadly managed to attend all boring and motionless online lectures in past six months and since you  have done the same,it is not a big deal now. Okay,moving ahead,online classes were the first adjustment that our beloved Education System did,and of-course it sounded very promising in the beginning until I and we attended our first online lecture,metaphorically it was like you are doing something but nothing is actually happening,right.This adjustment was easy but the process was terrible, and it is still the same.

Okay,let not bore you and list the most important points on why OC failed and is still failing and this is my perception,you may have different.So,let's begin:-

1. Tools

 Okay,you can trust me on this,80% students attend classes on mobiles because many don’t have the proper setup like laptops,good mobiles,strong network. No one  was ready for this,although now many got the tools but my most of the friends complain on this. We wanted college or school to at-least help on this.But neither system nor schools are understanding this real pain. We want some mercy.

2. Mood

This is boom!You eat,sleep,play,watch you-tube,scroll social media,in-fact go to market,chat,and continues,all during classes. Since you are not in the classroom,your 50 min lecture is so much easy now. You don’t have to listen those boring sounds and see those notes. You are in your room,where you are a lone king,and the best part you know you are intelligent which means not caring is actually cool for you.

3.Zoom/Meet/Teams

First Zoom,then meet and now teams.Zoom was good,meet was better and teams is best,this is what my college thought. Anyway,just let me know what next. I have my brother who is not from any fancy school where he gets his lectures on voice-notes. These zoom,meet and teams are unimaginable for many children in country. Education system was not ready but ,why? You are a minister,you child studies from team on macbook doesn't mean that everyone in our country has the same type of facilities.System sucked sadly.

4.Our development:

When you are in college or school, you are actually not just there for learning,you do everything, you learn about actual elements of life. And this(OC) is so boring and getting worst day by day as you are doing the same things from past 5-6 months. Teachers and our campuses were not just there for academic they were so that we can develop as a whole. Just joining and sharing screens is never going to build us.

5. Quality of teaching:

 Am I audible. This is the only time I open my mic. Online classes are more than just dead. They are beyond motionless. My professors are not doubt excellent and they try their best to make us understand. But I have just one thing to say,online classes are so much constant when teaching style is concerned .Teachers in classes (i mean real classes) can see everyone and acknowledge who is understanding what,but online classes are the classes for mere 4-5 students. Not just this,not every teachers are that good ,right.They now have the option to complete the whole syllabus without even caring what we learnt.

Thanks for reading till here, just tell me when we, the student circle are going to live our normal life. We are the educated species,and can wear masks and take all safety measures.
